last minute lunch for kids near R.O.M.

I'm going to the museum today with two fairly unadventurous eaters, 7 and 9. Other than fast food, are there any options near the museum that anyone can recommend?

I take mine to Pho Hung when in that hood. He likes spring rolls and noodle soup.

Thanks, everyone! We ended up eating Subway and having a picnic on the Cumberland rock. Subway is their favourite restaurant (I can't believe we're related!!). It was nice, though, given the weather. I'll keep the other suggestions in mind for the next visit.

Actually the Food Studio in the basement of the ROM is pretty good for that kind of thing, they have the usual kid stuff, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza as well as some actual food for adults. Not expensive, they have a combo with a hot dog, veggies and dip and a fruit juice for $5.25 for example

I was going to suggest the same thing. We were there yesterday and I was actually really pleased with the overall quality! Plus they have a thing about buying ingredients local so good on both fronts.

Across from the ROM is Over Easy, which is an all day breakfast spot. It's not the best food in the area, but for two somewhat picky kids, it may suit your purpose.

There are two pubs just north of the ROM on Prince Arthur. Bedford Academy and the Duke of York. Both will have stuff for kids. Alternatively, Dynasty has a great lunch special including some typical dishes, soup, spring rolls, etc.
