Dinner alone in paris tonight

my friend is late coming in and i am staying at the grand hotel i know there are fun cafes near there but wld love an elegant formal place

A lunch reservation is also appreciated

    I bet the one at Opera? The local Café de la Paix is interesting. Senderens is close, so is le Ritz, very elegant and formal and traditional-technical food from the most awarded chef on earth. Meurice is a few hundred yards further.
