Dmitris restaurant, Northern Liberties

  • 4

I walked by the new Dmitris restaurant on 2nd street in Northern Liberties and it's finally open. I'm dying to check out the place since it's so close to home and I've always enjoyed the one in Queens Village.

Does anyone know how to contact the new restaurant since I don't think there's a website?

  1. Their number is 215-592-4550. BYOB and cash only.

    1. Did you get the chance to check the New Dmitri's out? I've been waiting to go there, as I love Both South Philly and Center City/ Midtown Village locations! Now I can walk, as I live in Fishtown! Please post with your review of the new Dmitri's. I do plan on going later this week or over the weekend!

I went to Dmitris for the first time last Sunday at 5ish. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere but I can imagine that it will be loud when all of the tables are full of people. It was crowded when my husband and I left at 6. I enjoyed the meal and I think the restaurant is a good new addition the neighborhood. It sucks that they don't take reservations...

My husband and I shared the octopus and babaganoush appies. Both were quite good. Then we shared the bluefish Greek style and the calamari. The calamari was outstanding the the bluefish was just okay. Overall, it was a decent meal but not mind blowing. If you're in the mood for simply prepared fresh seafood, it's definitely the place.

      2. Their web site is: http://dmitrisrestaurant.com and they now take credit cards and reservations. Great service and great food at really reasonable prices.
