For those who love Ham Ji Park

  • 5

I snapped up a $25 restaurant.com gift certificate for $2 during a big blowout promo they had a while back. The catch is that in order to use the certificate, we must order a minimum of $45 of food.

I've heard all about the kamja tang (spicy pork neck soup) and their dajie kalbi (spicy marinated pork ribs). How much will an order of kamja tang and dajie kalbi cost, and how many people will it feed? If this will not get the bill up to the minimum required $45, what else would you recommend off their menu? And how many of our hungry friends would $45 of Ham Ji Park feed?

Thanks in advance, 'hounds

  1. Taster,
You would be close to 40 for the two dishes. The stone bowl kimche rice will take you just above 45, I would say.
The three dishes would feed about 4 non-gluttons quite comfortably. We usually get a double order of ribs, one soup and one rice for 4-6 people.
I just went to the new (or really old) Pico/Crenshaw location and saw the owner and her daughter. Love that place!

    2. I've used it Ham Ji Park for 4 ppl before - I don't remember if it was $45 then or if it's increased.
Hold on, lemme check my blog post ...
OK so gam ja tang is abt $15, the ribs are $16.99 (I shared this among 3 ppl cos the other - semi vegetarian just got some tofu stew)
you might also want to get spicy squid w noodle ($17.99) & those 3 should feed 4-5 hungry ppl.
