Girl's night in Lahaina

  • 1

My friend is getting married on Maui in April and I have been given the task of hosting a girl's night out for her and some friends the night before the wedding. We do not want to do the traditional Bachelorette type of party, but we would like to find a great place that has a good atmosphere, good appetizers and great drinks.
I have not been to the Island before, so at this point I would love some suggestions. I guess we're looking for a lounge or bar like setting....maybe some dancing......maybe some karaoke? I'd also take any other suggestions as well.
Thanks for you help!!!

  1. Hi there! The last time I was in Maui, I went to Lahaina Grill, and there were a group of fabulously dressed locals having a girls-night-out dinner. The drinks there are fantastic, and the food is great. It is definitely a great place to get dressed up and have a great dinner with some girlfriends but don't want cheesy traditional bachelorette style fare. I find that the bars/restaurants in Lahaina closed later than other places so there should be a few bars/shops that are still open after dinner so you can do some bar-hopping.

Lahaina Grill has a bar area so even if you don't want to do a full dinner there, it's a nice place for drink/apps. However it doesn't have a "lounge" type feel. The prickly pear drink (can't remember if it's a martini or margarita!) was wonderful!
    Have a great time!
