One Lunch in Florence
We will be in Florence this summer for only one day. Where can we eat lunch that will have a great steak for the men, and a salad or pasta for the women.

Not to sure about the pasta, but Sostanza is a good bet for steak. It has been recommended on this board (and elsewhere) numerous times.

Had an excellent dinner @ Trattoria Sostanza last night. We had the steak, the butter chicken, a small plate of pasta, an artichoke omlette, and an utterly delectable dessert. Oh, we also had a plate of mixed charcuterie. Everything was delicious. I did see on the menu salad...you can eat family style or not...and if you're a small party, it will be a communal table. Mange!

Taverna del Bronzino has an amazing bistecca alla Fiorentina that the men will NOT be disappointed with, and they are open for lunch. There are also many other options on the menu for the ladies to enjoy, including salads and pasta. Buon appetito!
