Where can I find mint jelly that is very mint-y? Is there a local farm that makes it? I'm not a fan but I want to get some for my dad. Every kind I've ever tried has been predominantly sweet and only vaguely mint-flavored.
Try Baxter's mint jelly. It's from the UK. It's minty but also has a bit of vinegar in it that balances nicely with the sweet. I like it on sugar snap peas!
Whole Foods sells a brand under the name Rosebud. It's excellent. While it's not neon green the flavor is very clean, sweet and minty. I love it with baby lamb chops.
