Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Hosting a Wedding party for 200-300 people. Need suggestions for budgets under $40k

I am trying to get some ideas for hosting a reception in Manhattan (venues in Queens and Brooklyn will be entertained). Good food is a must.

Also looking for good caterers if we decide to go with a blank canvas - chinese and Indian food providers.
