Hip/Chic Restaurant Suggestion for 15 people- Bar and Boeuf?

My husband and I are hosting some family in Montreal for his 40th bday. I'd like to find a place with great food, a hip atmosphere and stellar wine list, although really just he and I are into wine. Have heard that Bar and Boeuf may be a good choice - any suggestions here? I don't want anything too old and stuffy, but a bit trendy (not twentysomethings hangin out at the bar), with some atmosphere to it. We'd like to stick to Old Montreal or downtown.
