La Tapenade, Vieux Nice - lovely

After a few days of somewhat uneven restaurant meals, I just had an lovely dinner at La Tapenade, in the Old City in Nice. Ravioli nicoise in tomato sauce, a glass of the house red, and tea after; maybe not the most French choice ever but just what I was pining for and delicious. I wish I knew what was in those ravioli; I definitely tasted some thyme, sage, and probably a few other herbs, but no obvious pieces of beef like I'd expected. Would have gone even better with a cream sauce, but still, so good. English was spoken (maybe a touch touristy- I definitely heard a few British accents at neighboring tables), prices were reasonable for the area. Anyway, I'm back at the hostel, full and happy, just thought I'd share.
