Las Vegas solo
I am spendig a night solo in Vegas and was hoping for a recommendation for a great restaurant where I can sit at the bar and eat a full menu. Money is no object, looking for a lively place with great food, steak, seafood, whatever. I am staying at the Mirage.
Thanks in advance

Circo at the Bellagio has a great bar where you can eat and watch a game on a big HDTV flat panel. Gourmet menu and great people watching.. Steaks, everything Italian, seafood, lamb. I've never been disappointed. Ask for Joe. He's been there since the Bellagio opened in '98

Shhhhhhhhhhhh. There goes a nice little secret. The bar at Circo really is a fabulous place for a solo diner that wants to watch a sporting event. Many of the upscale Strip restaurants do not have televisions, and of those that almost all the bar areas are open to the casino or high pedestrian traffic areas (understandably). The latter is not a bad thing, of course, if that is the vibe that a patron is looking for, but for those that want a quiet evening of event viewing, with quality food, Circo is near the top of the list.

Had dinner at the bar at Circo. Perfect, had a 1/2 order of the resotto as an app and then had the lamb chops, delicious. Enjoyed a nice 1/2 bottle of wine and watched the basketball on the big screen. Bartenders very nice and great conversationists. Thanks for the tip:)
