Links feature
Why can't I get the links feature to work in the Quebec board? I think I saw it mentioned in this Site Talk board that you'd added filters and restrictions to the feature that limited it right out of existence. Is that right? Is there a chance of fixing the problem anytime soon? It's really, really helpful when you're not thoroughly familiar with a city. There are so many neighborhoods in Montreal that it's just pretty difficult to keep things straight when a thread starts drawing from all around. If only it were possible to pinpoint the locales in question!

Can you describe the problem you're encountering in more detail?

When I click on enable links it shows the restaurants, I can highlight it, but when the message is posted nothing is saved to the post at the bottom and it doesn't show up as a link in the upper right corner. Every now and then, though, just to confuse things, it works. So I'm happy to believe I'm doing something wrong, only I don't know what I'm doing right when occasionally it works?!

Managing links: for me, is, off and on,very flaky. I am patient and wait up to a day for things to sort out. 'They really are there', even if you do not see them in your post. Sometimes it works immediately, but many times it is delayed. Why, I am not sure.

Maybe a new symptom of that old problem of out of "sync" servers which caused such terrible delayed post problems a while back.
I am finding this very same problem of late, the place link doesn't show for some variable length of time. If I go back and try to add it again nothing happens (which seems to indicate that it's in there someplace but just not showing up on the post/board yet).

This same thing just happened to me on the San Francisco board, so it's not just Quebec. It was working for me the last time I tried it a few days ago.
