Hi guys looking for some help, staying in the Albany area, hotel, a few nights this week and looking for suggestions of where to have dinner, not to fussy about cuisine, buy best of list would be steak, burgers, BBQ, Indian, or any local standouts that I should not miss, do not mind to travel say in a 25 mile radius

Without knowing where in town you're staying, it's hard to give specific recommendations, but since you're willing to travel 25 miles, I'll assume you have a car. First, check out this thread which has a lot of good information:

After that, I would suggest Jack's for delicious food in a historic restaurant, Karavalli for the best Indian you'll ever eat, Albany Pump Station for a great burger, Dale Miller for fine, creative dining, New World Bistro Bar for more relaxed creative dining, Salsa Latina for Mexican/South American, Van's for Vietnamese, Ali Baba for Turkish. Enjoy!

The food at Karavalli is amazingly good and from many different regions of India. I'm sure you'll love it. I've only been to the Latham branch, but there are a couple of others.
