Just dined at La Hacienda tonight. I don't have much of a frame of reference as to other Mexican places as it's not normally our favorite thing to eat out. Everything we ordered was delicious though. We'll give it another visit at some point for sure.
The mission was good enough first time to get a return visit at some point too.

I can't say that I have been wowed by consistently great Mexican food in a moderately priced, decently good food place.
In the east valley. I have tried Manuels, Serranos, Garcias, Macayos, El Charro, Nandos and a few others.
I was particularly pleased with Si Senor in Chandler, and for What i would call New Mexican Food it was good, great portions and helpfull staff.
El Charro in Mesa is still a favorite for the staples, Beans, Tacos and sublime enchiladas. I think they offer great chips and salsa. It is a local Icon and can disapoint.
I have never tried Tia Rosas. There is something about the place that turns me off. I just can't make it in there.
I am always open to trying new places but haven't been inspired by a whole lot lately.›2 Replies-

The places you have listed are generally chain operated "Americanized" Mexican places that primarily dish up pre prepared food off of steam tables, top it all with cheese and melt the daylights out of it. If you want great Mexican food at truly reasonable prices you have to hit the real places:
Carolina's
Los Taquitos
La Condesa
America's Taco Shop
Pepe's Taco Villa
Rito's
Guero's Tortas
Los Reyes de la Torta
Etc.All of these and others can be searched on this site. they appear frequently.
