Kenny and Ziggy's

Don't know if this was posted. As of Friday, they've signed at letter of intent for a Dallas location. Good news for deli lovers.

  1. I heard a rumor from someone who knows about these things. He said they're going in the space currently occupied by Zinsky's. Can anyone verify this? In retrospect, I wouldn't be surprised if Zinsky's was actually on it's way out.

I'm very anxious for Kenny and Ziggy's to open in Dallas. If their appearance on DDD is any indication of what we've got to look forward to, I'm ready for them. And their kasha varnishkas!

There you go again with your kasha varnishkas! I guess I'm going to have to do some research so I can keep up with you all! Ha ha!

    2. News like this makes my deli pants go crazy.

"Makes my deli pants go crazy"...that has to be one of the best CH quotes I've read. I'm surprised Zinsky's is on its way out so quickly. Can't wait for a rachel/reuben accompanied by a chocolate egg cream. Yum.

Not 100% positive yet that Zinsky's got the deep six. What I heard was a rumor. Albeit, from a very reliable source.

dammit, twin. I will call Brezinski and see what the poop is all about. I spoke to the guy about his new place going up in Allen a week ago, he didn't seem like he was suffering and just changed the menu up a month or so ago. We shall see.

That sounds like a good idea. I'm sure we're not the only ones anxious to know the truth about the, "rumor". I like Mark very much and certainly wish him success with Zinsky's.

      2. Good news indeed and I hope they survive here. They're better than Katz's (the one in Houston), and by far, have the best pastrami in Houston.

Is it possible that they are going into the space where Roaster's was?

I was wondering that as well. But personally, I think that area is a "dead zone".

        2. Are there any updates on this?
