Urgent!!! Myrtle Beach Barbeque Hunt

Hey, I'm coming to Myrtle Beach, SC for a few days. I have never been to the South before, and I would love to find a good barbeque spot. Thanks for your help.

If you like seafood, have some Calabash style fish while yo are there too.

If you want to drive a little south, go to Hog Heaven Barbeque on highway 17 between pawleys island and georgetown...well worth it...plus on some evenings they have live music. A true local's place....I've eaten a lot of barbeque and this is some of the best.

And truthfully, as much as I love barbeque (and I do!) the coastal area is known for it's excellent local seafood. Be sure to check out what's fresh and in season.

Didn't like Hog Heaven at all. Wouldn't recommend.

Prosser's Barbecue in Murrel's Inlet is highly recommended. Last time I was there I tried to go for Sunday lunch but the line was so long that I couldn't wait. I hope to try it this summer.
