Casita Taco's in North Hollywood (Photo & Review)

I've been on the search for a long time for a good taco. I know I can find good ones in Los Angeles or on trucks just its impossible in my area.

I live in Sherman Oaks area so the vicinity of North Hollywood to Van Nuys is my distance.

Casita Tacos on Magnolia near Lankershim is the spot.

We've talked about this spot on this board in the past, just this time I took a photo.

This is the Al Pastor Taco for $2.00 and chips, looks more like chili Colorado served in between a tortilla, either way its simply amazing, give it a try!

Cheers,

Stuart

    1. I think Casita is okay, but prefer their asada to their pastor. I also find the salsa somewhat bland, especially compared to the salsa roja at the El Taco Llama just a few blocks away (on Magnoiia, just east of Cahuenga).

I prefer flavor & taste always first over the salsa selection and wasn't thrilled with the meats at El Taco Llama, I love the quality at Casita 100% more.
