Miang Kham in LA?

I've had delicious Miang Kham in Seattle, SF, and Portland, but can't seem to find this amazing Thai dish here in LA. A Google search shows that Street makes a version of it, but it seems like a radical departure from the real deal: a salad of shrimp ginger peanuts chiles lime and coconut served in betel leaves. Any ideas?

THANKS!

You need to talk with Jazz at Jitlada in Thai Town. I believe that they will make it for you (but you won't go wrong eating here no matter what and if you consult with Jazz you will end up eating a menu that will blow you away).

Jitlada does have it on the Southern menu...Miang Khum. It was #80 but the menu has been undergoing revisions so ask for it by name. But do consult with Jazz...they can probably make it to your specifications, and do explore more of the Southern menu.
