Concordia Sushi Joint - Sushi7
Did my Friday lunch walk-about near the Guy Metro station and came up Sushi7, a 14-seat eatery on St. Mathieu, pretty well opposite the Metro entrance. Ordered up a small Wakame salad ($3), a bowl of Kimchi Chigae ($9), and a Chirashi (sashimi) platter ($13). And that's done me for lunch and dinner. A lot of food, and all yummy!
Service was efficient, loads of smiles and unsolicited refills of both water and tea.
You never know what you discover by walking around this great city!!
Off to my mid-afternoon nap now

That's quite cheap for the sashimi platter. How many pieces of fish and what kind?

If my memory serves me right, I would say about 8 types, 4 of salmon, 2 each of squid, octopus, tuna, shrimp, mackerel, and yellowtail, 4 slices of (real!) scallops, all on small mound of seasoned rice.
All were thinly sliced but you get more than enough. Wasabi and wakame on the side.
Was great value for the money.
