Study cafes around Yonge & St. Clair area, OR around Danforth

Hey all!

I'm a university student and with exams coming my way in full swing, I was wondering if anyone knew of any cafes around the northern area of downtown - around yonge and st.clair, and even a bit further up north if necessary - or around the Danforth area, that would be an ideal study spot. By that I mean relatively quiet, adequate seating areas, good food/drinks and, if possible, free Wi-Fi.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

  1. I'm not sure about the free wifi, but Timothy's at Jackman and Danforth is a great spot to hunker down, have a coffee, and do your reading, etc.

    1. Not sure about the free wi-fi at either spot but Ezra's Pound (Dupont near Spadina) or Rooster (new spot on Broadview, a few blocks south of Danforth that I LOVE) are both good spots - pretty, quiet spaces with quality coffee. Both serve pastries, both are on the pricier end, Ezra's has a few more substantial food items (sandwich, soup, salad).
