Dublin help please :-)

Hi, on a very short notice i'm at Dublin next week !! I usually search chow throughly before every travel but now i even don't have time for that.. Can someone please help me with a list of good places to eat in center area, all kind of cuisine with limitation of no fancy/high end chef places (my dad coming also, he hates those places..). So good solid food at moderate prices.. Also if there are "foodie must" places i would be glad to hear about them :-)

    1. Well, unfortunately, the "foodie must" places are the "fancy/high end chef places", unless I am missing something.

I guess i didn't explain myself well :-) Foodies must i mean special food stores and markets worth visitng and buying local specialities/interesting cooking stuff, also best places for ice cream and chocolatiers etc.. Not restaurants.. Thanks !

This should tick all your boxes - v. central, interesting food shop/deli, restaurant and wine bar. We had a drink in the basement and a wander 'round the ground floor shop - the restaurant upstairs closes inbetween lunch and dinner service and we were there around 4pm. The basement wine bar IIRC does charcuterie plates/small plates
