What's your latest food quest?

I've been hearing about Mavericks beef sandwiches from day one that I joined chowhound.
I FINALLY got there tonight and had the beef sandwich. I wish I'd gotten there sooner, but that said, it will be on my return soon list.

What place have you read about but haven't gotten to and wish that you'd've gotten to sooner?

    Heidi's is/was definitely on the list. :(

Sea Change, LBV, Meritage, Strip Club, Ngon, Corner Table are also on the list (off the top of my head).

Otherwise, I am ashamed to say I've never been tried:

-Any of the Mexican joints on Lake (shocking, considering I LOVE Mexican food)
    -Midtown Global Market
-Most of the ethnic food on University or Eat Street.

Living in the northern burbs, I have a hard time convincing myself to drive 20 miles just to get a few tacos or a torta...

    Corner Table
4257 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55409

410 Saint Peter St, Saint Paul, MN 55102

    The Strip Club
378 Maria Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55106

    Sea Change
    806 Second Street S., Minneapolis, MN 55415

Good post. Definitely The Nook! I've lived in St. Paul my whole life and finally got there a few years ago. I can't believe all those Juicy Nookies I could have eaten.
