Best Sushi in Torrance/Gardena on a Thursday?

Collegiate Cam the Man is returning from southern Ohio (where there is no good sushi to be had) next Thursday; don't think I can get him from LAX to Gen (his previous favorite) in time for dinner. What're the two or three best sushi options in the Torrance/Gardena vicinity? . . .and why are they the best?
