New Hudson Valley CSA

I wanted to let Chowhounders know we are starting a pick-your-own CSA in Hopewell Junction, NY. The farm is called Fishkill Farms, and has been in the family for 3 generations. We will offer a full selection of organically grown vegetables and IPM fruit, including berries, cherries, peaches, apples, and pears. Please visit our website at if you are interested, or email me at

  1. this is this the same csa that was being promoted through east fishkill rec last year?

    1. This is not the same as the one you are referring to. Healthy Harvest CSA at the Johnson Farm on Carpenter Road is the one you are referring to and it is happening this year! If you are interested in becoming a member you can email one of the board members at It looks like CSAs are coming to the mid-Hudson Valley!

      1. I LOVE the idea of a CSA with lots of fruit! I've been holding back on getting a CSA membership for a long time because I'd really love to "harvest" more berries, cherries, apples, etc. instead of so much fennel and bok choy. I checked out the website, but I didn't se how much an annual membership would be. Have you set a pricing scale yet?
