Peter Gordon, a New Zealander, is well known for his fusion style of cooking, not his committment to seasonal British produce or our traditional dishes - both of which he seems to wan to dismiss with something of contempt. Perhaps indicatively, the restaurants currently gaining Michelin stars and other awards are exacrtly those places cooking seasonal local food.
