Stick to their traditionally-prepared simple dishes, I think that is what Ciudad does best. If a menu item there sounds like an unusually elaborate combination or unique preparation, avoid it.

That sounds right. The way I'd put it: the less cooking skill required the better. But oh do I love Ciudad for the mojitos and the amazing Carribbean flavors. It's like the Carribbean version of Sushi Roku!!
