Now that would be something I think could be fun to have a chance to try better fun types of fish it seems it would help fisherman to be able to know that they could a little more than what the get paid at daily auction

Last year we got a LOT of cod. Sometimes we got flounder, whiting, hake, and/or pollack, but in general the fish of the week was cod. It was not the plan, just what happened due to availability of fish, etc.

Sadly, they are "sold out" of 2010 shares, but you can be added to an email list for next season.

I don't think this is true. As a current member, we are still waiting for the new price list which wasn't finalized very recently. New fishing regulations go into effect on May 1st which may affect both availability and cost of fish in general.

Thanks smtucker - I'll go back and try again. When I visited the website last week and tried to download a form, I was redirected to the "sign up for our email list" with a note saying "sorry - sold out for current season". Maybe that was for 2009 and I just jumped the gun?

Edited to add - Yep - sure enough, was able to get to the application today. Thanks again for the heads up!

      3. Thank you rainoftoads.
Any other lead is still welcome as it might have pick-up locations working better for me.

I don't know of any other seafood CSAs but this is the best website I have found for CSA info.

I am pretty sure you can join anytime and the cost would prorated. I have been thrilled with the quality and freshness of this fish.

They say that they have a new season starting in June, but they list all the delivery locations as "coming soon".
