Hi looking for markets that carry live sea urchin ... in the tank. I've seen carried by 99 Ranch sometimes, but its random. Anyone spot any lately?

Quality Seafood in Redondo Beach has them almost all the time (as long as the ocean is calm and the divers can dive). They are about $6/lb and they are about 1lb each.

We have purchased and then immediately enjoyed them right there at Quality Seafood on the Redondo Pier. They are still moving while being consumed...very fresh!

In addition to QS in RB, I have heard that a place in Gardena called Moonfish also carries live Sea Urchin. It's been there for decades and is run by Japanese folks.
