Roberta's - long waits for brunch?

adam Mar 10, 2010 07:21 AM

I was thinking about checking out Roberta's for brunch this weekend (been there for dinner), but a bit nervous about the wait - thoughs on how long waits generally are at brunch? The same as dinner, better, worse?

Went for brunch last Sunday at 1pm. Waited about 20 minutes for a table for 2. We had the ricotta pancakes and the fried chicken, both were outstanding. Dare I say their brunch food is better than their pizza?

Wow...Menu looks great. Never knew they had brunch.

Ricotta pancakes, fried chicken, guanciale pizza...

Would love to hear how it is if you go.

OK, that does not answer your question. Sorry.

Just to report back - 4 of us got there about 11:30, and the place was mostly empty. slightly more full when we left an hour later, but still plenty of space. And delicious - polenta with poached egg and pork shoulder, ricotta pancakes, benton's bacon, guanciale and egg pizza, all excellent. That is a great place.
