Hearty Roots CSA

Does anyone want to tell me how much they love (or are disillusioned) with this CSA? It looks like they operate exclusively in Brooklyn and upstate. I'm trying to get interested in a CSA again after getting burned out for a few years. Thanks for any feedback..

I just signed up for a half share in the east williamsburg location this year. I know people who have been members there for years and it sells out early. I was a member of the greenpoint-williamsburg CSA at McCarren Park a couple of years ago and I really did not like it, I just felt like Garden of Eve just gave the CSA the leftovers. I'd walk through the farmers market and see really beautiful peppers and other veggies at their stand that they rarely/never gave the CSA members. Plus, I don't think you're required to work a shift at Hearty Roots (I think) where you are definitely required at Garden of Eve.

Anyway, I started with a half share to test the waters...we'll see if I like it.
