ISO: dark chocolate Easter eggs

Do they exist? Can I buy them in Toronto? Might as well have people hunt for things that are worth eating.

  1. Try the Lindt outlets, east or westend.

I am assuming Laura Secord or Godiva may carry them. But again I am assuming.

    2. Last year I got dark chocolate easter eggs at Leonaida's and Eitelbach. I haven't seen them on display yet.

Eitelbach (in First Canadian Place) has them now. I bought one yesterday. You can also buy truffle eggs there, if you're feeling extravagant.

      2. If you're after small "searching" eggs, the Lindt foil-wrapped ones are available at Shoppers Drug Mart (dark blue foil). Godiva also does small foil-wrapped ones; theirs are more solid whereas Lindt's are creamier. For bigger "prize" eggs, you'd probably have luck in any chocolate shop (Stubbe, Soma, Xococava, etc).

I was in Soma last weekend. While I didn't see any eggs, they do have very cute bunnies in dark, milk and white chocolate.

        2. Thanks for all the suggestions!

          1. Go to any organic store, Essence in the Market, the Big Carrot, Planet Organic there are lots of them. Denman Island in BC has a choclate making company and they carry all sorts of organic chocolate, dark, light,'s yummy too. There are lots of companies that do carry dark chocolate easter eggs that you'll find in stores like this.
