Has anyone been to this place for an upscale brunch "buffet?"
It's $32/each for their Sunday brunch, just want to know if it's worth it. We usually go to Hot House Cafe (for casual brunch), but found they are really going downhill when we visited this past Sunday.
I would like to try the other downtown hotels, but parking is such a pain.
A lot of cold items - lobsters halves, salads, cold cuts, but the hot items were disappointing. Good dessert table. Haven't been in a long while, though (over a year).
I was there at the end of January. The cold items, especially the seafood items were generally good. They had crab salad with real crab. The hot items included brunch/breakfast items like eggs, bacon, sausage as well as lunch items like fish, pasta, pork, roast beef, etc. They were ok.
The one thing that was disappointing was that when I tried their chocolate cake, it tasted like it was made from a mix. One of my other dinning companions also made a similar observation.
