Anyone know where I can find some old school blood sausage? I don't know why but I've been having this crazy hankering for some.
Mexican Moranga is available at both Northgate and Pancho Villa Markets. You can get the spanish Morcilla at Pata Negra in Pacific Beach.
I love both.
Euro Food Depot on Lusk boulevard has authentic French boudin noir (frozen). They are open on Friday afternoons and are a suppliers for local restaurants.
I buy German-style blood sausage at Sausage King in Hillcrest, at 811 W Washington St
(between 8th Ave & 9th Ave). If you've never been, it's worth a stop.
The shop next to Shakespeare Pub & Grill sells blood sausage & black pudding (along with other English foods); I have no idea if they're good or not though.
