MOO Restaurant

Will be going to Barcelona in a couple of weeks and out to eat with friends who have made reservations at MOO Restaurant: http://www.hotelomm.es/moo/default-en...

Never heard of this place, has anybody been? Thoughts and comments appreciated.

    1. Moo is run by the Roca brothers who has the Michelin 3 star El Cellar de Can Roca in nearby Girona. The cooking style is similar, molecular modern Catalan. I ate there about 3 years ago when it first opened. It was good but pale in comparison with their flagship restaurant. I've heard that it has gotten better but I would eat at Can Roca if given the opportunity.

Thank you for your reply, PB.

We dined at Moo last Wed the 24. I didn't enjoy it much.

The place reminded me of The Modern in NYC, where the bar <and the decibel levels> is adjacent to the dining area.

The food was good but forgettable. I doubt a return trip is worth it.
