Can you ID this restaurant?

I'm out of town and trying to remember the name of a restaurant on 18th Street in San Francisco. It's between Castro and Noe, on the North side of the street, across from the Eureka Lounge (or whatever it is called now).

You walk exterior stairs to get to the restaurant. The food is French, I think. Years ago, this place was called Lupann's.

Can anyone tell me the name of this restaurant? I tried searching on Google and Yelp, but couldn't figure it out.

That place is now Poesia, which is one of the few really good restaurants in the immediate area.
