kids at shopsins?

any thoughts on taking 2 kids (4 & 5) to shopsins? they have been to nice restaurants all over the world but something about shopsins scares me ...

I absolutely love Shopsin's. The food is terrific and they seem to get a bad rep for the way they treat people. If you just go there, not make a big fuss about anything, and eat the great food there should not be a problem.

I agree that Kenny will watch his mouth around the kids. He is not a monster jus a bit quirky. LOL.

Although the kids will inevitably love the food at Shopsin's, and Kenny will be sweet as pie to them, his foul-mouthed son will drop f-bombs the whole time, so it's up to you how you feel about that. I happen to love the food there but would never take my daughter.

The last time I was there, unkempt fat guy sitting in one of the table with t newspaper yelled out to the cooks inside about "the fuc#*ng tomato sauce is in the top cabinet!".

At some point, one of the cooks came out and asked out in the open "is it a half order of the fuc#*ng fried chicken?"

I agree. The food is lousy at Shopsin's.

Yes, I've seen families eating there with no problem.
