Authentic Spanish Tapas

ISO a casual, fun place for spanish tapas.
(Not sure if we want flamenco or entertainment); open on a Tues or Wed evening.

Haven't been in a while, but I used to really enjoy Embrujo Flamenco at Broadview and Danforth. They do have live shows on the weekends, but on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening I'm sure you'd be fine.

Torito is good fun, reasonable wine list and tapas that extend beyond Spain to South America. Nice vibe. Cava is good fun too,. though different vibe. You have to manage the menu and the service, who are enthusiastic, but will up sell you on water and wines by the glass. Be firm with your budget.

Compared to both, I've also had a very casual but also really good dinner at Cambalache on Mt. Pleasant near Davisville. Similar quality to the others, but less formal service.

I've never been to Cava but have always loved Torito. It has that perfect balance of being fun, and lively but very down to earth at the same time. In other words, not a "seen and be seen" place but modestly genuine.

Torito and Cava. Torito is more fun, Cava is a bit more upscale.
