Drop-in lunches that are delicious delicious delicious

Hi! What are the places, near and in the Quarter, that my BF and I can just stop into for great food, for lunch and dinner?

We're going to Commander's on Wednesday, but have no other reservations. We like to have plans but prefer not to have reservations as that's a little too restrictive, you know?

So...Napoleon House? Acme? Coops? What else is awesome that is relatively easy to get into? We don't mind waiting less than 30 minutes.

We walked right in to Mr. B's at 1:30 mid-week and were seated immediately. BBQ shrimp and $1.50 martinis--who could want more? We had another lunch at Luke in the CBD, walked in,no wait.

If you're looking for awesome, head to the CBD. Le Foret, August, Cuvee, Emeril's, Herbsaint, A Mano, Riomar. Lunch is generally not a problem without a resv. FQ: Galatoire's, Rib Room, Iris, Green Goddess. Not as good, Bacco, Mr. B's, Muriel's, Johnny's.
