Rockland Maine

Looking for the very best resturant in Rockland. Price not issue. Fresh...simple...very good.
Not looking for Lobster. Thank you.

  1. Great food and unbelievably extensive menu. Thai tofu curry, gnocchi, fire-roasted greens all got rave reviews at our table. Reasonably priced.

    Cafe Miranda
15 Oak St, Rockland, ME 04841

      1. Sorry, but Miranda is not the best restaurant in Rockland. It's Primo, when they're open (they close from early Jan until late April), then In Good Company, Suzuki Sushi and Lily Bistro.

Third for Primo. I love Suzuki and others in the area, but as the "very best".........Primo gets it.

        2. Primo. Done. We like to sit in the bar, because the cocktail nuts are so amazingly good. As is, of course, everything else.

I prefer the bar too. If the special continues, there are $1 oysters @ the bar on Thurs and Sun....yum.

          2. When are you going? I'm not sure if or how open they are right now.

Primo opens in April. Not sure of the date.

They opened for the season last year on Mothers Day.

Primo. They are opening on Mother's Day again this year, I just saw Price at the co-op where they sell their eggs from their own chickens. Best restaurant, and not just in Rockland.
