Wanted: Saturday night dinner location for girlfriends within walking to Union Station
On my list right now: Terroni Victoria, Mercatto (Toronto), possibly pub vibe of Esplanade Bier Market (although not the best food)..had considered Beer Bistro (love those frites!) but this was already ruled out by one dining partner...prefer no sushi/thai/chinese (next time)...fun vibe would be great but not 100% deal breaker...decent but not amazing food is quite fine too..it's more about getting together over a meal and talking about boys...

The Wine Bar? I haven't been since the change-over, but it shouldn't be too different.
Biff's is bistro style and is riiight across from Union IIRC.
Duggan's is right around the corner from Beer Bistro, but it's a pub style place.

Terroni on Victoria is no longer there. It is now Osteria Ciceria e Tria, owned by the same people but mostly a seafood based menu from what I have heard.

Terroni moved on to Adelaide (Courthhouse).

Oh. Just to note, Biff's is at Yonge and Front, not where that marker is.

Hank's (see Bok Choi's recent review), Rodney's on Bay, Harlem (might be a bit too far), PJ O'Brien's is a not-bad pub in that area.
