New Kam Fong- Vegetable?

Went to New Kam Fong armed with recommendations and had an amazing meal of Wonton Noddle Soup, Roast Duck, and Pork Rib Rice Casserole. One problem- no vegetables! Can anyone recommend a dish or two that is a) not eggplant (dinning companion hates eggplant) and b) not broccoli (I'm allergic).

Can't wait to return and try even more!

Just ask them what they have fresh to serve up simply sauteed. They'll always have a bok choi or something like it available.

Their vegetarian/vegetable list isn't extensive or memorable.

Usual standbys in Cantonese restaurants are spinach, hollow vegetable, pea shoots, choy sum (Chinese rape), gai lan (Chinese broccoli). You can get them fried in garlic or with preserved beancurd (spinach and hollow veg.).

Yeah, none of those are actually on the menu except for the spinach - you just have to ask what they have that day.
