Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Washington, Oregon and Alaska (exc. Seattle and Portland)

From Sea Tac to Silverdale

Flying into Seatac and driving to Silverdale in the late afternoon. Looking for a place to grab a bite on the way after a full day of flying. Local places, no chains please. Open to all types of cuisine. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    1. Going by way of Tacoma Narrows Bridge or ferry from Seattle (downtown or Fauntleroy)?

To the east of the Fauntleroy terminal is White Center, the most Hispanic neighborhood in Seattle. Check the 'Mexican' threads for options in that area.

We will be driving by way of the Narrows Bridge. Haven't been back to the Puget Sound in 3 years so any local food would be nice too. We enjoy anything from whole in the wall kind of roadfood to 5 star dining so bring on the ideas.

          • Silver City Brewery in Silverdale is really good.

I second the recommendation for the Silver City Brewery. Good service and good food.

If you cannot hold out all the way to Silverdale you could try the Marketplace Deli in Gig Harbor: http://www.yelp.com/biz/marketplace-d...
