Bars around the 59th St / 5th Ave. area?

Can anyone recommend some good bars around the 59th St. / 5th Ave. area?

I know this is a long shot [considering it's uptown], but basically I'm looking for something that is, preferably within walkin distance, relatively cheap, has a good selection of beers [hefeweizen/wheat beers please!], serves decent cheap eats, and isn't a small bar that gets extremely crowded.

Just start throwing those names out there! And if possible please add a link to it, so I can see it!
