Need rec for new haven 25th birthday surprise birthday spot

Looking to throw my boyfriend a surprise 25th birthday party in new haven. By "party" I mean 12-15 people. Would ideally like a place where I could reserve a small section/table for drinks and maybe some small plates. Will probably take place around 930. Please help!
