Food to pair with a 1982 Latour a Pomerol?

I've got a bottle of 1982 Latour a Pomerol that I'm wanting to crack open. I'm thinking of serving it with roast leg of lamb and potatoes. Keep it simple. Any other suggestions?

This wine needs no food! Make it the meal! ;-) -mJ

From R.Parker's comment ( dated 6/2009) : "This wine has been at its peak of maturity for the last 4-5 years, and appears to be holding nicely in my cellar. The problem is that over half of the wines in my case have been corked! ".

So maria's last suggestion is very relevant.

Thanks! I've learned the hard way to always have back up bottles when it comes to old bottles. Wish I had known ab the TCA problem before I bought the bottle! Luckily its been perfectly cellared throughout its history (or so I pray...)

Was there a known TCA issue specific to the winery?

Keep it very simple. Non-competing. What you've described sounds perfect.
        Perhaps have a backup bottle.
