Fulton Burger Closed in Thornhill

It was just a matter of time. The product was terrible , overpriced and the owners never did any marketing or promoting of the store. Its a great pity as there is such a good customer base in that area for a good product.

i wonder how the other branches are doing

Anyone know if the Stoufville one is still open

      1. re: itzi

I was next door to the Stoufville's Fulton Burger yesterday April 3rd 2010 it has closed too

      2. re: legendrider

I am very happy it closed perhaps now something decent will replace it. I went there once and that was enough!

      3. Everything was frozen, I'm not surprised.. funny part is, when people would google "fulton market burger" the review that came up was a thread with me slamming it from my bad experience there :/ I'm sure that didn't help things..

        1. I think this place was doomed from the beginning.

I don't think anyone on CH ever held out any hope for it and the first couple of reviews came in and they were terrible.

Sounds like they pulled the plug on the whole idea.

Having worked in the Fulton Market building @ South St. Seaport in NYC in the mid 80's, back when South St. Fries was in the same lineup as the chili and pastrami joints, it makes me wonder what the connection is between Fulton Burger, NY Fries/South St. Burger and the South St. Seaport. .

There was nothing terrible about the Fulton St. fish market. Good bouillabaisse at Sloppy Louie's.
It all ended because the real estate was too valuable for mere food.

Isn't South St. burger owed by the same people as NY fries?

Sorry I misunderstood... I don't know if there is any connection between South St and Fulton...perhaps the names seemed familiar, reliable

I thought Fulton would have gone under this past summer. I had a bet going with my son. Terrible burgers and bloody expensive. I hope something good goes in there now.

                        Applejacks is another sorry chain.
