Central Mass

Seems like with the change in categories here for New England, Central Mass is the odd man out. Southern New England appears to be mainly RI & CT, Northern New England appears to be mainly ME, NH & VT, and Boston has their own category, appropriately so. Is it that there is just no talk about Central MA or is Central MA like "the man without a country"?

    1. According to the above heading, Southern New England includes CT, RI & MA--that's ALL of these states.

I know. But there is so very little posted about Central Mass in the category. I'm wondering if it is just the lack of places to post about. Seems like there was a lot more about Central Mass before the change - especially Worcester.

I've noticed it too -- I guess those of us in Central MA need to start posting new topics rather than waiting for other people to do it.

              I'll post one now!

Agreed. I think it's just due to lack of posters, in general.

              • I have noticed this since the board change too. I feel like we do not fit any of the categories now.

                  1. As someone who spends 4 days a week in soiuthern Connecticut and 3 days in central Mass, I have found outside of Worcester that Central Mass is a culinary wasteland.

I would love some wonderful places to dine in Leominster, Fitchburg, Gardner, Lunenburg, etc, but haven't found any yet. Monumemt Grille and Barber's Crossing don't measure up
