Early Monday lunch near Great Jones St.

I want to take my husband for a light birthday lunch near Great Jones St (or about a 10-15 minute walk from there!). He'll be getting a (surprise) massage at around 2:30 at the Great Jones Spa so it can't be too heavy! Any suggestions for special (but light) lunch nearby?

I also like Five Points -- for brunch and other meals. Many light items and organic/local ingredients.

Five Points into Great Jones Spa is the perfect combo and they're literally right next door. Get the gnocchi with short rib ragu if they have it, stuff is amazing.

Five Points is the best option for that. I have always had a nice meal there.

That's a no on Great Jones Cafe. I'd also say skip 5 Points, it's always been disappointed except for weekend Brunch.

Bond St Sushi fits the bill. Definitely a special occasion place, and sushi makes for light eats.
