Would love to enjoy a few good meals while traveling on business. I dont mind taking a taxi. Would love to experience any standout restaurants. Will pass on italian, asian, mexican as we have plenty of those at home. Thanks

Don't know if you're already off, but I would really recommend Esperanto. Swedish and French food with a Michelin star. Great service and not too far from Slussen.
If you have time, try Leijontornet in Gamla Stan (Old Town). That's just a walking distance from Slussen. Serves Scandinavian, organic food and in the restaurant there's the remains of a wall from the 14th century. It's expensive, but well worth it!

I would probably try Morfar Ginko or Kvarnen. Gondolen is another nice place for a drink, just around the corner from the hotel. If you want pricier options head to Ostermalm.
Loads of great beers, go to Systembolaget (the store where you can buy your alcohol in Sweden) and check out the local assortment!
