Everything for the Kitchen, Glastonbury, CT
(Note: The title of this thread was edited with the poster's permission from Center of the Plate to Everything for the Kitchen -- The Chowhound Team)
I was over at the Griswold Mall recently and noticed that the Center of the Plate butcher shop had closed. My wife thought it was there a few weeks back. I know 2 Hopewell, its sister restaurant, is still going strong since we were just there for a great dinner. The place is empty but I heard this is where Everything for the Kitchen is going. Jay

re: kattyeyes
I was just by there today and the sign is up in the window saying mid to late June opening. There is paper over the window so you can't see in but there was definitely activity in there. They are going to be in the corner shop at the center bump out of the building and not where Center of the Plate was. It will be right next to the Wild Bird Store. Jay

EFTK is going into that plaza, but I don't think it will be in the COP space. Way too small. I had heard it was going where Olga's was.
